I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Foundations of Animal Sentience Project within the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Science at the London School of Economics.

I completed my PhD in Philosophy at Columbia University in May 2020. I then became a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Foundations of Mind at Johns Hopkins University, where I did research, partly in collaboration with the Perception and Mind Lab,  and taught for the William H. Miller III Department of Philosophy.  Before Columbia, I did both my BA (in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) and my masters (BPhil in Philosophy) at the University of Oxford.

I work on Philosophy of Mind, of Cognitive Science and of Neuroscience.  I am especially interested in animal minds, different kinds of memory, and the representation of time. My dissertation is titled Animal Minds in Time.

In my spare time, I play cello and double bass.

I have also been involved in Rethink, co-facilitating philosophical discussions for recently incarcerated young people in New York City.
